Julieta´s dream

Julia and Meriam are 2 girls from Argentina who live in Spain where we met at a beachbar in the summer of 2008. They gave me permision to publish their story as a token of their apreciation for my webportal for online coaching and counseling. Meriam lives on the beach in the far South oposite Gibraltar and Julieta lives in a village in Alicante which is about 600 km up north. They are lovers that had no choice but to move away from each other if they wanted to survive the killing emotion of jealousy. That is why Julia and Meriam need coaching through the internet with me at http://www.onlinepersonalcoach.net/ When we grow up we are being taught values by our parents and our teachers and then when we are all grown up we can decide if we agree or do not agree with them. Raising children does not always happen stainlessly. It seems though as if we cannot completely wash of these stains when we decide for our selves. Those unwashable stains we call our blind spots. Impossible to see and yet always there influencing your behaviour and thus your live. Therefor Julia and Meriam need counseling. Julia has this extreme feelings about honesty. Meriam did not always share this value of honesty and in their past together Meriam was a little flirt. Flirting away she was having the best of fun even though she knew that this was a big issue for the one she really loved. Harmless flirtations are not so harmless when they are not happening openly and that was not always the case here. So why would Meriam do this? I will ask her when we have our next session again, but I can already fill that in. Meriam is a freedom fighter. Years were passing while the girls started fidgeting, untill arguments over details became so regular that they can not live together any more. Sadly they have lived apart for almost a year. This gave them time and space to find out what life is like without each other and without so much fighting all the time. Ofcourse they both relaxed and came at ease with each other. Meriam now understands how she had hurt Julia, she has committed to the value of honesty and decided that she only wants to be with Julia. So happily they decided that Julia would travel back to the South where her beloved would wait for her. All was good so to say. Then the past crept up in a dream that Julia had last night. She dreamt of Meriam being involved with one of their best friends, a guy they both love very much. She telephoned Meriam and told her about the dream and started fighting about it over the phone. A terrible phonecall because now they are not one step closer to moving towards each other, instead they stepped in old pains and stains. I feel proud that they came to me for help. Julia’s dream might have been her worst nightmare, it also initiates a way towards her freedom of her strong believes that keep her from seeing Meriam as she is.
